The Mokelumne River: Keeping our River Clean

This electronic slide show serves as both an introduction and a companion piece to the Mokelumne River Watershed Owner's Manual and the RCD's Reflection in the River video. This 35± minute presentation provides an overview of the what, where, how and why of non-point source pollution for the classroom, public agencies and community organizations with an emphasis on how individuals can reduce non-point source pollution. While the setting for the presentation is the Mokelumne River watershed, the principles included in the presentation are applicable to most watersheds. The San Joaquin County Resource Conservation District's Watershed Coordinator is available to schools and community organizations to present this program upon request.
